WORKPLACE GIVING
Many employers sponsor Matching Gift programs and Workplace Giving Campaigns to help their employees give back to their community.

With Matching Gifts your employer could match your gift to Tri County Wildlife Care dollar for dollar. They will match any charitable contribution or volunteer hours made by their employee or employee’s spouse. In some cases, employers will also match their retirees’ gifts. To find out if your company has a matching gift program, please contact your human resources department or other appropriate company resource.

Workplace Giving Campaigns, usually held during the fall, offer employees a chance to donate to causes, through payroll deduction, that are important to them. Your human resource department will have all the details on how you can specify Tri County Wildlife Care as your charity of choice and help sustain our mission of humane and hands-on wildlife care.

TRADE YOUR SECURITIES FOR OUR SECURITY
Here’s a chance to feather your own nest! Instead of cash, donate appreciated stocks, bonds or mutual funds. You may be able to deduct the full amount and not pay taxes on any gain.

Talk to your tax advisor for details.

ROLLOVER TO CELEBRATE WILDLIFE
All those acorns you’ve been “squirreling” away in the form of IRA dollars for your future well-being can help nurture the future of wildlife and save on taxes now. How? If you are 70 ½ or older you can annually direct up to $100K of your Required Minimum Distribution to TCWC using the IRA Charitable Rollover. This means the money will NOT drop into your income column on the tax return. It only works for Traditional IRAs, not for SEP IRAs.

Your tax adviser can tell you more.
