A-PAL Opportunities


A-PAL Humane Society Director of Education

GOAL: By the time of graduation from the eighth grade, all students in Amador County schools will have had exposure to several classes emphasizing the importance of humane behavior toward all animals (and each other).


  • Coordinate with Amador County Board of Education and individual school principals to have an humane education program in the county schools.
  • Develop an humane education curriculum specific to different age / grade levels.
  • Develop a team to make these presentations on a yearly basis in Amador schools.
  • Arrange for appropriate materials to make the presentations.
  • Make regular reports to the A-PAL Board of Directors regarding Education programs.
