It's a WRAP!

SUPERHEROES SWOOP IN TO CELEBRATE
WILDLIFE AT PAWS & CLAWS 2016
Wearing colorful capes, masks, tights, and even a tutu, over 120 supporters of Tri County Wildlife Care came to Paws & Claws 2016 to celebrate wildlife and the people who care about wildlife.
President Sandy Greene shared a short year-in-review: over 700 critters so far this year have arrived at the doors needing care and the outlook is that 60% will be released, which is impressive. The new facility at 80 Ridge Road Suite B in Sutter Creek has been wildly successful and has accommodated the 10% more songbirds needing help. TCWC achieved PLATINUM status on GuideStar and is on track to devoting over 90 cents of every dollar spent to the animals and our community education program SAVING WILDLIFE SAVES US!
Dinner, along with Scott Harvey wine, chicken, shrimp and sides was prepared and served by our local Native Sons and Native Daughters of the Golden West. Best SuperHero costume prizes were awarded and Best SuperHero Acts tied for the prize.
Videos of our caregivers in action along with some of the critters they were helping back to health brought laughter, sighs and aawwws from the audience. The night was a lot of fun, the raffle and live auction were a success, and once again our supporters were our SUPERHEROES! Thanks to all for coming to help wildlife and people thrive together.
Hope you can be there next year too!
