With the help of our amazing fosters we are able to rescue and find homes for over 300 kittens each year. This program would not be possible without the help of our many volunteers.
Spay/Neuter
NO EXCUSES! Did you know an average female cat can have over 100 kittens in her lifetime? A-PAL has many Spay/Neuter programs to help residents of Amador County.
Special Needs
John Liedl, Santa Fund Program
Renamed after the passing of John Liedl, our very own Santa, this program has helped many special needs animals get the care they need to live a healthy, happy life and, for many, allowed them to find their forever homes.
Community Cats
Donate today to save the lives of furry feline friends like these. Your contributions also now allow for free spay and neuter of feral cats for local Amador County community members.
Twin Cedar K9 "Second Chance"
As of 2023, 414 dogs have completed the second chance program. Once they are in the program they are evaluated, trained, socialized and adopted to forever homes.
