With Gratitude - In Memoriam - Sandy Greene
Sandy Greene was one of those people whose impact will remain long after their passing. More than that, Sandy was a force of nature.
I have been involved with TCWC since its inception as a 501(c)3 non-profit, and Tri County has never had a better leader than Sandy, including the 7 years I sat in that chair. She was, quite simply, the most effective president we have ever had. She was not 'rigid' in her approach to overcoming challenges, always ready to listen to input from everyone before taking action, and always keeping the clear objectives front and center.
Alas, TCWC must move forward after this loss. Our mission, in Sandy's absence, remains the same.
My most sincere recommendation to all is this: When you are faced with a challenge, just sit back in a comfortable chair with your favorite beverage and ask yourself - WHAT WOULD SANDY DO?
