Where would we and our orchards be without our pollinator bees? When one of our rehabbers noticed a bumblebee cold and lethargic one 40 degree evening, she rescued it. A small bird basket became its temporary home, and bee suitable sugar syrup was prepared and given to the bumblebee by syringe. The syrup was eagerly eaten and soon the bumblebee was starting to move around. A shallow dish of syrup was left in the basket and the bumblebee spent the night in the garage. Next morning it was buzzing to beat the band and was returned to its wild home in the sunshine. Bee strong little bumblebee!

Welcome!PawsPartners.org is an alliance formed between A-PAL Humane Society of Amador County and Tri County Wildlife Care, the latter serving native wildlife in Amador, Calaveras, and Eastern San Joaquin Counties. Since inception we have added the Shelter Partners volunteer group, who support our local Animal Control organization, and Amador County Animal Response Team (ACART). Categories
