(all contributions are tax deductible) It's a world of laughter A world of tears It's a world of hopes And a world of fears There's so much that we share That it's time we're aware It's a small world after all Song by Richard M. Sherman and Robert B. Sherman It has certainly been a couple of years of tears, hopes and fears. It also has been a time of reaching out and showing that it is a small world after all. Once again, our website has reached across the country, this time to Alabama and the Friends of Bay Minette. They strive to protect and preserve the natural beauty of the Mobile-Tensaw River Delta and build respect for the natural world. The Friends of Bay Minette believe the community's youth are the future leaders of this world. They encourage youth to learn about the environment and to get involved with conservation efforts. One of the young members, Hailey, suggested learning about identifying birds which brought them to our Gold Country Critter pages. Bald eagles are Hailey's favorite. In her research, she found more information about bald eagles here. Thank you, Hailey, for your interest in birds and the natural world. We have included a picture of your favorite bird - a young bald eagle we recently rehabilitated and released. And thank you to The Friends of Bay Minette for your efforts to preserve the natural world and encourage young people to be advocates for nature and wildlife. Help TCWC Educate!
