From our wet noses to our wagging tails, we thank you from the bottom of our warm and furry hearts for your generous donations on Giving Tuesday! Last year we served 2032 pets with life saving treatments, surgeries and services that were made possible by generous donors like YOU.

We also greatly appreciate our community and matching partners, Amador Community Foundation, Pat Crew, Jackson Rancheria, Ledger Dispatch, Stan Lukowicz and the Highway House for all they do to help us succeed on this Giving Tuesday. We simply could not operate and save the lives of so many animals without such a wonderful and generous community.

“There’s no place like home” said Dorothy and thanks to your extraordinary and amazing generosity, thousands of animals will continue to be released back to their wild homes, healthy and free again! Thank you.

Giving Tuesday 2019 was a soaring success and Tri County Wildlife Care is honored by your support. We are privileged to provide the care wild animals need to thrive again and to teach our community why wildlife is so important to the air, land and water that sustains us all.

We also can’t thank the community matching partners enough for the large amount of matching dollars we received. Amador Community Foundation, Pat Crew, the Jackson Rancheria Band of Miwuk Indians, the Ledger Dispatch, Stan Lukowicz and the Highway House Restaurant & Bar give so much to ensure we all succeed on this day and throughout the year.

For 25 years, TCWC has been committed to both wildlife and people thriving together. Please don’t hesitate to call us at 209-283-3245 if you need help with your specific wildlife concern.

This very boldly colored bird is one of the most abundant birds in North America - the red-winged blackbird. We have three common blackbirds in this area: the red-winged, a very similar looking tri-colored, and the brewer's blackbird.

    Welcome!

PawsPartners.org is an alliance formed between A-PAL Humane Society of Amador County and Tri County Wildlife Care, the latter serving native wildlife in Amador, Calaveras, and Eastern San Joaquin Counties. Since inception we have added the Shelter Partners volunteer group, who support our local Animal Control organization, and Amador County Animal Response Team (ACART).
