Two New Beginnings

This was a very good day!

All gone-bye bye. I have never seen a finch fly out of a basket as fast as this purple finch. I told her the direction to Pine Grove and she is probably half there by now and going in a very straight line. No evidence of head trauma anymore.

The towhee was flying in the basket before I got the cover off just itching to leave. No problem flying with not quite a whole tail. Got great lift up to and through the oak trees. I am amazed at how fast the tail has grown just since Sunday. Incredible!

    Welcome!

PawsPartners.org is an alliance formed between A-PAL Humane Society of Amador County and Tri County Wildlife Care, the latter serving native wildlife in Amador, Calaveras, and Eastern San Joaquin Counties. Since inception we have added the Shelter Partners volunteer group, who support our local Animal Control organization, and Amador County Animal Response Team (ACART).
