Due to the global coronavirus pandemic, we are postponing our volunteer classes. We want you to be safe and one of the most effective ways to do that is to practice "social distancing" and limit in-person contact. Our classes put too many people in close contact.
We still plan on opening our baby bird nursery early in May and will need volunteers to supplement our staff to care for the baby birds. We are already receiving squirrels and more mammals will be on the way. Please watch our Facebook page and our Paws Center blog for more information about rescheduled volunteer classes in the coming weeks. If you would like more information about the pandemic, please read this information from the CDC website. Thank you for wanting to make a difference for our wildlife and your understanding during this difficult time.

Welcome!PawsPartners.org is an alliance formed between A-PAL Humane Society of Amador County and Tri County Wildlife Care, the latter serving native wildlife in Amador, Calaveras, and Eastern San Joaquin Counties. Since inception we have added the Shelter Partners volunteer group, who support our local Animal Control organization, and Amador County Animal Response Team (ACART). Categories
